Obituary

Mary Jane Culver passed away on March 15, 2026, on her 75th birthday.

She was born to Margarita Castillo and Elijio Niño and was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her siblings Maria Teresa Hernandez, Carlos Niño, and Joe Villegas.

Mary is survived by her sisters Belinda Wilford, Martha Ramirez, and Maria Villarreal, along with Maria's husband, Daniel Villarreal. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will remember her in their own special ways.

Mary was known for helping others, especially her friends and those close to her. She was honest, genuine, and never afraid to speak her mind. She lived authentically, never pretending to be anything other than herself. Those who truly knew her understood her in a way that went beyond words.

She enjoyed country music and classic rock, finding comfort and connection in the songs she loved. She also held a lasting affection for her ex-husband, Ronald Culver, who remained an important part of her life until his passing.

Mary had a special love for her pets—her poodle, Tika, and her cockatiel, Andy—who brought her comfort and companionship throughout the years. She kept their ashes with her, a reflection of the deep bond and love she had for them.

Although Mary did not have children of her own, she was part of a large family and a wide circle of friends who cared deeply for her. She leaves behind many who are grieving her loss and who will miss her presence, her voice, and the memories they shared.

She will be remembered for her individuality, her strength, and for living life on her own terms.

Services will be held on
