Mary H. Hatfield passed away peacefully on September 16, 2024, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. She was 82 years old. Mary was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, on August 15,1942.

She married the love of her life, Wayne Hatfield, in 1968, and together had 7 children. Mary was a devoted mother who was always there for her children, offering love, support and wisdom. Her greatest joy, though, was becoming a grandmother. Her grandchildren called her Momo , She loved and enjoyed caring for them, and treasured making beautiful memories with all her grandchildren. Mary was a fun and caring person. She loved gardening, music, dancing, games and truly enjoyed family time. She will be missed tremendously.

Mary is preceded in death by her father, Pascual Quiroz, and mother, Altagracia Gomez.

Mary is loved and will be missed by her husband of 56 years, Wayne Hatfield Sr.; sons John Hernandez, George Hernandez, Wayne Hatfield (Kyoko); daughters Michelle Elizondo (John); Joyce Hatfield, Linda Hatfield and son Beau Hatfield (Anna); 13 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sister, Pascuala H. Gonzales; brother Guadalupe F. Quiroz; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
