Mary Jane Guerra, age 69, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 15th, 2022. She was a long-time resident of San Antonio, Texas, where she graduated from Fox Tech High School. She went on to graduate from the St. Philip's College Vocational Nursing Program. She worked as a neonatal nurse at Santa Rosa and Metropolitan Methodist Hospitals. Upon entering motherhood, she left the nursing field to pursue self-employment and owned several furniture and resale shops prior to her retirement.

Mary Jane was a compassionate person and was always the first to offer help to family members or friends in need.  She enjoyed collecting and delivering food to the needy, and visiting the infirm while her health allowed her to do so. She was a devout Catholic and was very dedicated to her parish, St. Jude Catholic Church, where she served as Vice-President of the Guadalupana Society, a member of the Holy Name Society, and successfully assisted the church and organizations in all fund-raising efforts. In her spare time, she enjoyed making crafts, floral arrangements, thrift shopping, and being with her grandchildren.

Mary Jane Guerra is preceded in death by her children: Johnny Ray Guerra, Ann Margaret Guerra and Albert Guerra, Jr.; mother, Angie Saldana and stepfather, Mike Saldana; and grandparents, Tomas and San Juana Mandujano. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Albert Guerra; daughter, Angela Guerra Flores; son-in-law, Enrique Flores, III; grandchildren, Christopher Ray Flores, Brianna Michelle Flores, and Daniel Alexander Flores; and siblings, Michael Saldana (Nelda), Paula Rodriguez, Angie Leticia Saldana, Teresa Saldana, Barbara Hernandez (Miguel), Oralia Valladolid (Rogelio), Santiago Saldana (Martha), and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Following interment, all family and friends are invited to gather at the Immaculate Conception Parish Hall at 314 Merida Street for a post-funeral reception.
