The heart and soul of our family, Mary Magdelena Guerra, born October 5, 1950, was called home by the Lord on August 16, 2023, at the blessed age of 72. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She graduated from Holmes High School in 1970. She worked at Red Mc Combs for 12 yrs as a  Service advisor and retired from NICU at University Hospital after 21 years.  She was preceded in death by her father Pilar Guerra; brother Alex Guerra; sister Maria Chayo Guerra. Mary will be deeply missed by her mother Guadalupe R. Guerra; children Denise Leona Morales (Andrew), Xavier Jesus Ayala; grandson Michael Morales; siblings Arnulfo Guerra, Carlos Guerra, Martin Guerra (Frances); numerous nieces, nephews, as well as extended family members and friends. Heaven has gained a treasured soul. She will live forever in our hearts.
