Mary Lou touched the lives of many people who were not related to her by welcoming so many into her family. Her kindness knew no bounds.
Mary Lou, a devout Catholic, was afflicted with a crippling disease that diminished her strength but never diminished the sparkle in her eyes or the shine of her smile. Her strength and faith knew no bounds. She was her family's matriarch and her family's greatest hero. Maria Luisa Montellano will be forever loved and forever missed.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her ex-husband Manuel C. Montellano Jr. Her two grandsons Manuel Montellano IV and Jude Ernest Medina. Her two brothers Luis and Enrique Rodriguez. Her son in law Andrew Chauvin and her cousin/bestie Theresa Espinoza.
