Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mary G. Ojeda, who was born on January 24, 1959, and passed away on December 28, 2025, surrounded by love.

Mary was a woman with a truly big heart. She was always willing to help anyone in need, often putting others before herself. If someone needed something and she had a way to give it, she did—even if it meant she went without. Her kindness, generosity, and selflessness touched many lives.

She was a devoted mother and a deeply loving grandmother. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life,  she loved them fiercely and unconditionally. She took pride in caring for her family and made sure everyone felt loved, supported, and protected. Family was everything to her.

Mary also had a special place in her heart for her beloved fur baby, her cat Darla Marie, whom she loved dearly. Darla Marie was a constant companion and brought her comfort, joy, and unconditional love.

Mary was not perfect, but she tried every day to be there in any way she could. She showed her love through her actions, her sacrifices, and her unwavering presence. She carried many dreams in her heart—things she hoped to do and experience—but even when life did not allow her to fulfill them all, she poured her love into those around her.

Mary is survived by her loving mother Maria Garcia and her siblings, Belinda Tapia and Joe Garcia.

She is also survived by her children and their spouses: Jacob Ojeda, Georgie Ojeda and fiance Daniel Mancillas, Clinton and Pamela Matthews.
She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Monica Ojeda, Bryce Ojeda, Josh and Annalisia Guerrero, Matthew Martinez, Julie Palacios, Michael and Zoe Martinez, Ian Gonzales, Anthony Gonzales, Jeremy Gonzales, Erin Martinez, and Henley Matthews.
She is also survived by her cherished great-grandchildren: Angelique Moncada, Arralyn Moncada, Alexandra Moncada, Jose Moncada, Dartagnan Guerrero, Mateo Martinez, and Dominic Jr. Mancillas.

Mary's love, strength, and generosity will live on through her mother, siblings, children, their spouses, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, family, and selfless giving that will never be forgotten.
