With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Mary Dolores Rivera, who went to be with the Lord on September 28, 2025.

Born on April 11, 1955, in San Antonio, Texas, Mary grew into a loving mother, devoted sister, and cherished friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her parents Fidencio Tovar and Dolores Martinez Tovar, along with her brothers Raul Tovar, Fidencio Tovar, Ruben Tovar, Patricio Tovar, and Robert Tovar as well as her sisters Olga Chavez, Guadalupe Trevino, and Sister Barbara Tovar.

Mary is survived by her son David Rivera and his wife Kara; her sister Janie Camacho; her brother Oscar Tovar and his wife Consuelo, and her brother Hector Tovar and his wife Lily. She also leaves behind a multitude of nieces and nephews, extended family members, and countless friends who will deeply miss her loving presence in their lives.

Mary loved her family, was a big Cowboys and Spurs fan, and was always ready to hit the casinos.

Mary will be greatly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
