Mary Alice Trevino Gulley, 73, of San Antonio, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024,  peacefully surrounded by her family.

Mary Alice Trevino Gulley was born on June 4, 1950, to Jose Trevino and Jaunita (Mendez) Trevino in Taylor, Texas. She became a nurse and served her community for over 25 years. She married Thomas D. Gulley in a church service in 1985.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jose and Jaunita Trevino as well as 13 siblings. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Thomas Dixon Gulley; her children; Jose Maria Cavazos, III, E. Bernice Jimenez (Lonney) and Melissa Kay Garza (Sam), grandchildren; Nicholas Pacheco, Ofc. Mercedes Velasquez, Andrew De Mattio, LTJG Christopher Jimenez, Mary Elizabeth Cavazos, Isabela Jimenez, Erik Garza, 4 great grandchildren: Ruben Pacheco, Analee Gloria, Santiago Jimenez, Noah Collado, and her siblings; Betty Trevino, and Mary Jane Dominguez (Raul).

Mom had a great heart and was always there to lend a helping hand. She also enjoyed giving back to her community by volunteering at her church. After retirement, her favorite pastime was with her grandchildren, music and dancing. She always loved to travel, always making new memories. Mom will be greatly missed by her family and all who loved her.
