Melinda R. Vidaurri
January 13, 1969 – February 13, 2021
Melinda R. Vidaurri 52, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021 from Covid19. She was always extremely careful and always making sure her sibling were careful too, but somehow Covid19 still came to find her.
Melinda was born in San Antonio, Texas to Raul Roberto Rossel and Mary Jane Cantu. She was number five of six children. She loved every single one of her siblings.
She lived her life simple without a lot of needs. She took one day at a time, even though she had a lot of needs she still managed on a daily basis. Melinda would do everything she could for her nephews and nieces plus her sisters. She didn't have much but she would give everyone everything she had. Melinda had a heart of GOLD . When people talk about her they remembered her as "The kindest lady they have ever met". She would check in with her sisters every day and every night to make sure they were okay. She would send them and her friends' emoji's to brighten their day. Her hobbies were her puppies plus one cat. She loved spending time with her sisters and taking care of her pets. The pets were like her children, her pets loved her too. She loved watching movies, playing loteria, and drawing. She was an amazing artist, she could draw anything you wanted her to. You would bring her a picture and she would draw it for you, just absolutely perfection. She was also brilliant at making menudo. She made the best menudo and she would invite everyone over to her house to enjoy the menudo until last year when Covid19 changed times for everyone. She would make extra menudo so family and friends had enough to take some home with them. Her house was the house where family and friends gathered to enjoy a hot meal and conversation because she made everyone feel welcome. If you did not have a place to stay you knew Melinda would never turn anyone away, she might not have had a lot but she always gave from her heart.
Melinda will truly be missed every single day, her warm heart, her giving spirit, her loving soul.
Melinda is survived by her husband Raymundo S. Vidaurri, her adopted daughter Linda R Vidaurri
