Mercedes Ruiz Perez, born April 25, 1921 in San Antonio, TX, was called home to be with the Lord on December 29, 2019 at the blessed age of 98. She is reunited in heaven with her husband Rene P. Perparents Jose Angel and Maria Ignacia Ruiz; her son Rene Perez; brothers Jose Elias Ruiz, Domingo Ruiz, Jesus Ricardo Ruiz; and grand-daughter Irene Guerrero. She is loved and will be greatly missed by her children; Mercedes (Antonio) Vasquez, Mary Ann (Bernabe) Robledo, Roy Lee (Elva) Perez, and Blanca (John) Ochoa; brother Jose Angel (Guadalupe) Ruiz; 12 grandchildren; her great-grandchildren, as well as numerous extended family members.
SERVICES
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 9:00 a.m., at St. Ann Catholic Church. A rosary will recite at 10:00 a.m. and there will be a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. An Inurnment is to follow at a later date at San Fernando Cemetery II.
