Micaela "Mickey" Peña, age 64, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 16, 2023, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. She was born in Batesville, Tx on July 3, 1958, to Victoriano and Maria Canales. She was a homemaker and she enjoyed watching movies from the comfort of her home, spending time with her sons and grandkids, and taking an occasional trip to a casino. She was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Most precious to Mickey was her faith in God. She will be tremendously missed.

She is preceded in death by her father Victoriano Canales, Mother Maria Canales,  and sister Susie Vasquez.

She is survived by two sons Ricardo Peña (Edith) from Monahans, Tx and Juan Jose Peña Jr. from San Antonio, Tx. Two grandkids Ricki Peña and Jose Eduardo Peña. One great granddaughter Octavia. numerous brothers, Sisters, nephew's,  nieces, extended family and friends.
