Michael Allen Rosenau passed away peacefully on February 3rd, 2024 surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. He was 78 years old. Michael was born in Fairbault, Minnesota on March 14th, 1945. Michael attended Eau Claire University, he went on to enlist and serve in the United States Army as a medic. He retired from the Army as a veteran of the Vietnam war in 1969 and soon after moved to San Antonio. He continued to serve his community while working at Brooke BAMC hospital as a medical assistant. He then married his beloved wife, Lily, in 1984. Michael was a proud father and service member who loved his family, motorcycles, and classical music. Michael is preceded in death by his Parents Denver and Alma Rosenau; Brother Paul Rosenau and Brother-in-law Jim Hedman. Michael is loved and will be missed by his surviving family, Wife Lily Rosenau; Daughters Maria (Frederick) Rosenau, and Sarah Rosenau; Sister Roberta Hedman, Niece Veronica (John) Meyer, 4 grandchildren Robert Rosenau, Frederick Leal Jr, and Theodore Leal; and numerous extended family and friends.
