Miguel Duarte passed away peacefully on December 12,2025, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family.  He was 67 years old. He was born in Laredo, TX on October 15, 1958.
Miguel worked at Luby's for 32 years before retiring in 2021. He treasured the beautiful memories he created with his family throughout his 67 years of life on this earth. He was a big fan of Superman, Star Trek, working on cars, and classic rock music. Most precious to him was his family.
He will be tremendously missed by his daughter Jennifer Rose Duarte, grandchildren Justin Vaughn Villarreal and Selena Rose Santillan, sister Virginia Zavala and brother -in- law Armando Zavala, extended family and friends.
