Miguel H. Olivares went to be with our lord on February 10, 2022, at the age of 61.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria G. Olivares and his mother, Agustina Olivares.

He is survived by his children, Nereyda O. Asebedo, Juanita C. Olivares, and Miguel Olivares Jr.; father, Abundio Olivares; and siblings, Magdaleno Olivares, Santos Olivares, Regino Olivares, Javier Olivares, Gregorio Olivares, Beatriz Femat, Guillermina De La Rosa, and Maria Maldonado.

Miguel was born on September 6, 1960, in Mexico to Abundio and Agustina Olivares. He accomplished so many incredible things in life, but he especially loved his family and the memories made together with them. Miguel and his late wife Maria shared 35 wonderful years together. Miguel was really the ultimate husband and father full of love, support, encouragement, and guidance. He was known as the greatest handman to his family and loved his music. His capacity for generosity knew no bounds as he was someone who would help anyone in need. Miguel enjoyed nature and could be found spending time gardening at home. He inspired those around him to be a better person. He was devoted to his faith and family and brought immense joy to those around him. We loved his caring ways, and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Words cannot express the feeling in our hearts. Thank you for your prayers and support during this difficult time. Your shared memories, comforting condolences and gestures of love are truly appreciated.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022, at Castillo funeral home from 3:30 to 8:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at St. Jude Catholic Church at 10:00 am with all services concluding following the mass.
