Sancho
May 29, 1941 – November 27, 2019
On November 27, 2019, Miguel Sancho entered into eternal rest after a long battle with Parkinson disease. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rafael and Maria; brothers, Frank and Ralph and sister, Ann. He is survived b y his son Miguel Sancho, Jr. (Beatrice); daughter, Cynthia Sancho (David Salinas); mother of his children, Yolanda Bernal; 3 grandchildren, Michelle Willis (Matthew), Miguel Sancho III, and Brianna Sancho; 6 great-grandchildren, Kylie Dennis, Nouf Alhaithi, Benjamin Sancho, Matthew Willis, James Conaway, Marina Willis; brother, Raymond Sancho (Josie); sisters, Magdelena Garza (the late Robert) and Mary Alice Alvarez (Ignacio). He was a member of VFW Post 76. He served in the National Guard of Texas and reserve of the Army, United States Marine Corp and United States Air Force. He was aboard ship USS Paul Revere. He worked for Universal Book Bindery, Jones Furniture, Lacks Furniture. Then went on to open with a partner West wood Furniture, then a Matthews Manufacturing Co. and finally a traveling salesman for Golden Mattress Co. of Houston, Texas serving south Texas. We would like to thank the great staff at Las Colinas Nursing Home at Westover Hills and the wonderful people at Kindred Hospice and Chaplin Evan for all his prayers and kind words.
