Mike C. Segovia Sr. entered into eternal rest on February 16, 2020. He was born on September 2, 1937 in San Antonio, Texas to Juan Segovia and Rita Castaneda. He graduated from Burbank High School on May 29, 1958. He married Gloria Castillo on November 3, 1962. He was a devoted father to Gloria Rivera, Mike C. Segovia Jr., Yolanda Segovia and Ruben Segovia. He was a son, brother, cousin, father, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather and a truly remarkable friend. He valued his time with his family and friends. Mike was a member of the United States Air Force and served as a military police officer. He later spent the majority of his time as a truck driver. He was a proud parishioner of St. Henry's Catholic Church for many years and was also a beloved A.C.T.S. brother. He was best known for his long one-on-one talks and witty sense of humor.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Gloria Rivera, brother-in-law, Antonio Alonzo and siblings Guadalupe Segovia Abujen and Dolores Segovia Lundin. He is survived by Mike C. Segovia Jr., Mary Jane Segovia, Yolanda Segovia, Ruben Segovia, Nicole Thornbro, Ralph Rivera, Renee Segovia, David Segovia, Cyndi Segovia, Roberto Segovia, Carmen Segovia, Annie Alonzo, Theresa Garza, Ralph Garza; grandkids Rafael Jose Rivera, Alejandro Refugio Rivera, Ashley Rivera, Priscilla Ann Segovia, Michael David Segovia, Jonathan Michael Segovia, Arianna Nicole Segovia, Mia Elan Segovia and great grandkids Malin Rivera, Madison Rivera, Cashen Rivera and Rey Rios.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Rest in Peace Dad.
