Minerva Cantu passed away peacefully on September 21, 2020 at the age of 83, surrounded by
the warmth and love of her family. She was born in Corpus Christi, Tx on January 6, 1937.

In 1958 Minerva married the love of her life, Ernesto Cantu, and together they built a beautiful marriage until he passed away in 1997. She loved her children and her grandchildren immensely and would attend their sports events and other activities. She also loved to play bingo, go dancing, and took great pride in her cooking!

Minerva is loved and will be missed by her four sons Ernesto Cantu Jr., Orlando Cantu, Marcus Cantu and Gabriel
Cantu; daughter in law Rethia Cantu; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 2pm until 7:30pm with a Rosary at 6pm. A funeral procession will depart at 8am on Thursday, October 1, 2020 for a 9am Funeral Mass at Divine Providence Catholic Church. Committal services to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
