Elvira “Blanche” Martinez Zambrano, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and
devoted wife, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2026, with the love of her family in her heart.
Born on July 9, 1933, to Juan Martinez and Altagracia Delgado Martinez, Blanche lived a life
with love, strength, sacrifice, and unwavering devotion to her family.
On December 31, 1953, she married her love, Agapito “Gabriel” C. Zambrano. Together they
shared 58 wonderful years of marriage, building a home filled with faith, laughter, resilience, and
cherished memories. Their union was blessed with children, grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren
who remained the center of Blanche’s life and greatest joy.
She is lovingly survived by her children and their families:
Richard Anthony Zambrano and wife Yolanda, and granddaughter Lori Ann and her daughters
Taelor and Sevyn and granddaughter Celia;

and their daughter Emily, granddaughter Christina Quiroz and her sons Cameron, Jonas, and

Life, warmth, and enduring strength was the makeup of how God created her. She made
childhood fun for her children and created a home where they always felt safe, protected, and
loved. Deeply devoted to her family, there was nothing she would not do to defend and care for
her children. She often went without so her family could have what they needed, carrying
hardships with grace and honesty while never allowing her children to feel fear or insecurity.
She was known to many as, Blanche Martinez to appease her brothers, Blanche Zambrano, Aunt
Blanche, Grandma Blanche, Grandma, Abello and to the US Postal Service, she was known as
“Blaweenie Zambrano.
Sewing was one of her greatest passions, alongside her love for cooking and caring for those
around her. Blanche loved gathering her family together on Thanksgiving Day, which she
considered the best time of the year. The home she made for us, became a place of laughter,
comfort, and togetherness where generations created lasting memories around her table. Her
grandchildren and great-grandchildren were blessed by the thoughtful gifts she lovingly created
with her own hands.
Her beautiful laugh could fill a room, and her smile carried comfort, joy, and unconditional love.
She leaves behind a legacy of courage, compassion, resilience, and devotion that will continue to
live on through every generation of her family.
She will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and lovingly remembered by all who knew and
loved her. She is now reunited with her loving husband, family and friends.
