Nanet Maldonado Salazar passed away peacefully on March 19, 2021, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. She was 58 years old, born in San Antonio, Texas, on January 29, 1963.

Nanet worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Golden Manor for over 20 years. She later retired to spend time with her family. It was in her heart to care for all especially the elderly. She and went on to work as a care provider.

Nanet was married to her husband, Robert Garcia, for over 35 years. She treasured the beautiful memories she created with her family throughout her 58 years on this earth. She loved spending time gardening, fishing, and going to beach. She was a devoted grandma to Violet and Journee. Most precious to Nanet was her faith in God. She will be missed tremendously.

Nanet is also preceded in death by her parents Teodoro and Trinidad Maldonado, brothers, Demicio Maldonado and Rudolfo Maldonado.

Nanet is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her husband, Robert Garcia Sr.; daughters, Jessica Serna (Jesse) and Savana Garcia (Allen); sons Roberto Garcia Jr., Joe Anthony Garcia Sr., and Joseph Garcia. Her granddaughters Violet and Journee and sister Carlotta Trevino. Numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
