Natividad "Moomoo"
Campos
January 29, 1936 – October 13, 2024
Natividad M. Campos was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at the age of 88, surrounded by her family. Born in Juárez, Coahuila, Mexico, to Margarito Morales and Andrea Cortinas on January 29, 1936, Nati, affectionately known as "MooMoo" or "Grandma," was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She married the love of her life, Carlos, on December 29, 1957, in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico. After much studying and hard work, she became a Naturalized US Citizen in 1966 and worked for over 20 years at National Maintenance, Inc., where she retired (twice).
Nati was a dedicated wrestling fan, always eager to watch her favorite wrestlers while enjoying her snacks on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday evenings at 7 pm. Her home was the heart of family gatherings and holidays, filled with the laughter and energy of kids running around. Her delicious menudo, tamales, and buñuelos were staples of her cherished holiday traditions. Nati's greatest joy came from supporting her great-grandchildren in their sporting activities and special events. Her heart, pure gold and overflowing with kindness, compassion, and devotion, embraced everyone she met, leaving lasting impressions of love and warmth.
Natividad is preceded in death by her parents, Margarito Morales and Andrea Cortinas, her seven siblings, her husband, Carlos Q. Campos, and her granddaughter, Andrea Margarita Mendez.
MooMoo's love, laughter, and warmth will forever reside in our hearts, and she is deeply missed by her daughter, Andrea I. Luna; son-in-law, John A. Luna; grandchildren Vanessa M. Mendez and Jennifer R. Mendez; great-grandchildren Xavier R. Mendez, Brianna M. Mendez, Unique M. Drane, Carlos M. Mendez, , Jazmyn I. Reyes, Honor A. Drane, Michael J. Carrisal, Matthew L. Carrisal, and Dominic L. Rogers; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
