Nick D Zapata's Obituary
Nick D. Zapata entered into eternal rest on July 17, 2026 at the age of 92. He was born in San Antonio, TX on December 06, 1933 to the late Mariano Zapata and Antonia De La Fuente Zapata.
Nick was a graduate of Fox Tech High School and entered into the United States Air Force almost immediately after completing his schooling. After completing basic training at Lackland Air Force Base here in San Antonio, he spent over 20 years serving our country and protecting our freedom.
He is reunited in Heaven with his parents, Mariano & Antonia D. Zapata; and his sisters, Annie Gonzalez and Darlene Zapata.
Nick will be loved and missed by his wife, Victoria Rodriguez Zapata; children, Nicolas R. Zapata and Michael Zapata (Jackie); grandson, Nicolas F. Zapata; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
His legacy will live on by all who knew him.
