On February 22, 2025 our beloved mother Ninfa Herrera Aguilar at age 97 has gone to be with the Lord and reunited with her dearest husband Luis T. Aguilar. She was born March 19, 1928 in Fashing, TX.

Widowed at a very young age with her four children, Maria Luisa, Eva, Juan Manuel & David Herrera Aguilar; Ninfa was a leader to our family, a strong woman, a woman of faith and was respected by many. Everywhere she went she was kind to all and offered a helping hand for nothing in return. Ninfa is loved and her memories will be treasured forever.

She will be missed by her four children, eight grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Castillo Funeral Home, 520 N General McMullen Dr, San Antonio, TX 78228 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday March 12 and Thursday March 13, 2025. Prayer service will be on Thursday March 13, 2025 @ 6:00 PM. Funeral service will begin on Friday March 14, 2025.  Procession departure will be @ 9:15 AM and Church Service will be held at Theo Ave Baptist Church, 127 W Theo Ave, San Antonio, TX 78214 @ 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at A. Aguilar San Martin Cemetery, 14134 Stuart Rd, San Antonio, TX 78223.
