Ninfa "Nancy"
Garcia
November 7, 1949 – October 27, 2020
Ninfa "Nancy" Garcia went home to Jesus on October 27, 2020 at age 70.
Nancy was born to Pablo and Antonia Martinez on November 7, 1949 in San Antonio, Texas.
Nancy met her husband, Roberto Garcia at Fox Tech high school. They married on August 31, 1974 and went on to have two children, Rene Garcia (wife: Jennifer Garcia) and Cynthia Vasquez (husband: David Vasquez). Followed by grandkids Damian Vasquez, Dylan Vasquez, Davin Vasquez, Chasity Vasquez, Derek Vasquez, Dominic Vasquez, Alexis Martinez, Haven Watson and Rene Carson Garcia. Great grandkids Jordan Salinas, Illiana Salinas, Ariana Salinas and Jacob Salinas. Sister Luisa Flores (husband: Juan Flores) and brothers Vicente, Miguel, Antonio and Ricardo Martinez. She also had many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Nancy was a long time member of the Union Fraternal Latino Americano hall for 11 years as Presidente de Festejos. Nancy poured her heart and soul into the family. She loved to love on people. She enjoyed gatherings, cooking and was a caring and compassionate person. She enjoyed listening to the Golden Oldies, playing bingo, relaxing on the river or the beach. Music, laughter and dancing were always a guarantee when Nancy wanted to celebrate. When the twist played you better believe she was getting up to dance away. She had the most amazing luck. No matter if it was bingo or a scratch off, it was already known she was going to win. Nancy had a vivacious personality and always made people feel welcomed. She was very strong, feisty and full of life. She always told you the truth even if it wasn't what you wanted to hear. All whom loved her dearly will never forget her undying love and care she had for them. Anyone who knew Nancy would say they were blessed to have had her as a part of their lives. She will be immensely missed as she was the glue to the family.
