As a devout, young, Roman Catholic, our Mother taught catechism to children preparing them for their First Holy Communion. She was also a member of the Guadalupanas at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. She instilled in our family strong traditions, such as praying the Holy Rosary together every Christmas Eve. Our Mother was an avid reader of classic literature which made her an excellent conversationalist. With her sense of humor and love of live, she always got along with everyone. Her love of music and dance, led to a chance meeting of her soul mate, our Dad. They were married for over 70 years. Rest in Peace Madrecita and our beloved brother, Luis Felipe.
