Obituary

Con gran dolor y profunda tristeza anunciamos el fallecimiento del señor Noé Espitia Guevara. Falleció el viernes 14 de junio de 2024, a la edad de 78 años, en su casa de San Antonio, Texas, con su amada esposa a su lado.

Noé nació en Anáhuac, Nuevo León el 24 de enero de 1946. En 1969 se casó con Juanita, con quien compartió 55 maravillosos años. Juntos tuvieron cuatro hijos muy queridos.

A Noé le gustaba pescar y trabajar con sus manos para construir y arreglar casas y maquinaria. Se enorgullecía especialmente de construir y mantener personalmente un hogar para su familia.

Le precedieron en la muerte su hijo, Baby Boy Guevara, su madre, Lilia Espitia, su padre, Heriberto Guevara, sus hermanos Raúl Guevara, Roberto Guevara e Israel Guevara, y su hermana, María Magdalena Cazares.

A Noe le sobreviven su esposa Juanita R. Guevara, sus hijos, Patricia Cantú y su esposo, Edward Cantú, Laura Leticia Guevara, Noé Guevara Jr y su novia Sara Woodworth, sus nietos Edward Cantú Jr, Dominic Cantú y Katie Lynne Sandoval, y su hermano Guadalupe Guevara.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el jueves 20 de junio de 2024, de 4 p.m. a 8 p.m. en Castillo Funeral Home ubicada en 520 North General McMullen Drive y el rosario comenzará a las 6 p.m.

El viernes 21 de junio de 2024, una procesión fúnebre saldrá de la funeraria a las 9:30 a. m. para una misa a las 10 a. m. en la iglesia católica de San Alfonso, el viernes 21 de junio de 2024. Seguirá el entierro en San Fernando III.

It is with great pain and deep sadness that we announce the death of Mr. Noé Espitia Guevara. He passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024, at the age of 78, at his home in San Antonio, Texas, with his loving wife by his side.

Noé was born in Anáhuac, Nuevo León on January 24, 1946. In 1969 he married Juanita, with whom he shared 55 wonderful years. Together they had four very beloved children.

Noe liked to fish and work with his hands to build and fix houses and machinery. He took special pride in personally building and maintaining a home for his family.

He was preceded in death by his son, Baby Boy Guevara, his mother, Lilia Espitia, his father, Heriberto Guevara, his brothers Raúl Guevara, Roberto Guevara and Israel Guevara, and his sister, María Magdalena Cazares.

Noe is survived by his wife Juanita R. Guevara, his children, Patricia Cantú and her husband, Edward Cantú, Laura Leticia Guevara, Noé Guevara Jr and his girlfriend Sara Woodworth, his grandchildren Edward Cantú Jr, Dominic Cantú and Katie Lynne Sandoval, and his brother Guadalupe Guevara.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Castillo Funeral Home located at 520 North General McMullen Drive with the rosary beginning at 6 p.m.

Mass will be held from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the San Alphonsus Catholic Church, on Friday June 21, 2024 followed by the procession to San Fernando #3.
