Noemi Z. Santiago entered the kingdom of our lord at the age of 90 years old. She passed away peacefully in her home on July 18, 2023, in San Antonio, Tx. Noemi was a very loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Noemi was born on October 7, 1932, in San Antonio, Tx. to the late Reymundo Zavala Sr. and Demetria Carreon. Noemi came from a large family… she was the 7th child in a family of 10 children. Because of this Noemi grew up to be a very strong, independent and disciplined woman. She lived a Godly life instilling her faith in Christianity to her two sons Eddie Arnold and Jay Santiago. Noemi was very honest and direct, she didn't believe in beating around the bush, but at the same time she was a very loving and generous soul. She raised her sons alone always making sure to provide their every need. Throughout her adult life she dealt with many medical issues but her strength and faith in our lord kept her moving forward without complaint. She fought a long battle and God with his infinite mercy and grace took her home to paradise. Today we do not say "Goodbye" to our dear Noemi.. today we say "Till we meet again in Heaven… we will hold you in our hearts and minds forever."

Noemi Z. Santiago is preceded in death by her parents Reymundo Zavala Sr. and Demetria Carreon; her siblings Margarita Zavala, Louie Zavala, Amelia Arredondo, Eliasar Zavala, Nathan Zavala, Rachel Rivera and Ruth Delacruz; and her grandson Ryan A Santiago.

She is survived by her two remaining siblings Efrain Zavala and Reymundo Zavala Jr.; her loving sons Eddie Santiago Sr. (Damaris) and Jay Santiago; her grandchildren Elizabeth, Eddie, Crystal, Joe Eric, Sean, James, Joshua, Ashley and Brittney; 25 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins
