Norma Jean Chavira, age 54, entered the Lord's presence on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, surrounded by her family after a 9-year battle with Cirrhosis of the Liver. Norma was born on April 16, 1967, in San Antonio, Texas, to Maria Mendez Perez.
She was best known for her unwavering faith in the Lord, and her passion for his word. Norma inspired the hearts of those around her, and will greatly be remembered for her dedication to her children, genuine love for others, courageous spirit, and her laughter that could fill any room. She enjoyed attending service at Cornerstone Church, joyfully worshipping alongside her brothers and sisters in Christ. She loved quoting her favorite movies, and spending quality time with her family.
Norma Jean Chavira is survived by her mother Maria; son Pedro; daughters Julianne, Maria, Yolanda, Esperanza, Celeste; brothers Armando, Roland, Miguel, Jeremiah; sisters Yvonne, Cynthia, Keziah, Alexis; her grandchildren Kaylee, Caleb, Natalie, Joseph, Carter, Cera, Robyn, Rylie, Juan III, Norma Jean, Esther, Isaac; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
May we all find comfort in knowing that she is no longer in pain, and is now rejoicing in our Father's Kingdom. As we celebrate her spirit-filled life here on Earth, we encourage you all to allow her to continue to inspire your lives.
