Norma M. Gonzales, 83, passed away Sunday afternoon (December 18, 2022) in her daughters' residence surrounded in warmth and love. She was born on December 26, 1938, in San Antonio, Texas, a daughter of Sophia M. Gonzales, and the late Rudolfo Gonzales Sr.

Prior to her retirement she was employed with Kelly Air Force Base then concluding at Brooks Air Force Base. Norma graduated from Sydney Lanier Highschool, earned her associates degree at San Antonio College, and attended Texas State at San Marcos. In Norma's free time she enjoyed getting comfortable with an interesting book to read, loved working outside in her garden, and even had an interest in line-dancing. She had a vast fascination in history, especially of her family lineage where she worked on the family genealogy. Norma shared a deep love for animals and cherished her pets, 'Shadow', 'Oreo', 'Ginger', and 'One Eyed Jack'. Her generosity knew no bounds and would often volunteer at food pantries and voting booths. She genuinely loved her home and was a member of the Woodlawn Neighborhood Association. May Norma rest in peace and let the perpetual light forever shine upon her.

In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Rudolfo Gonzales Jr.

Family members include her 103-year-old mother and a daughter Kathleen Ingle-Wolodzko and a son in law, Paul Wolodzko; grandsons, Ian Ingle and Kyle Ingle; granddaughter in law, Amy Ingle; and a great grandson, Kohen Turner Ingle; siblings, Juan Gonzales (Sonia), David Gonzales (Irma), Sophia G. Orme, Oralla Weaver, Mary Esther Gonzales, Virginia Gonzales, Daniel Gonzales (Esther), and Robert Gonzales; in addition to numerous extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted with family receiving guests from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturday, January 14, 2022, and a Chapel Service beginning at 3:00 pm at Castillo Funeral Home.
