Norma G. Villa, 93, went to be with the Lord on January 4, 2024, at her residence in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on July 18, 1930, in San Antonio, Texas, a daughter of the late Esperanza and Horacio Gonzalez.

Norma lived her life dedicated to family and faith while accomplishing much in her lifetime. As a mother she was dedicated and present, always placing the needs of her children above her own. As a grandmother, she was nurturing and loving, always there to place a smile on our faces. She was an avid gardener, she adored her beloved pets, and enjoyed listening to jazz music. She dedicated her life to the Lord and through her sure and certain faith we wait for the day until we are all reunited once again.

In addition to her parents, Esperanza and Horacio Gonzalez, she is also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Misty Villa and a sister, Alicia Gonzalez.

Family members survived by include two sons, Elias Villa Jr and Leonard Villa; three grandchildren, Elias Villa III, Nicolas Villa and Andrew James Flores; four great-grandchildren, Felicity Villa, Lauren Villa, Juliet Johnson and Joe Johnson; a great great-grandson, Elijah Villa; in addition to numerous extended family members and friends.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Castillo Funeral Home from 9:00 am to 11:30 am for visitation. A rosary service will be conducted at 11:30 am followed by the eucharist of resurrection at 12:00 pm in the Castillo Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will conclude services with a grave side service in San Fernando Cemetery II.
