Ofelia Saucedo Becerra, born December 5, 1927, passed away peacefully at home on June 11, 2023, at the golden age of 95.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Sr. and Sarita Saucedo; daughter Yolanda Becerra; granddaughter, Annette "Nannie" Becerra; great-grandson, Dominic Rene Vasquez; siblings, Linda Saucedo, Mercedes Saucedo, Sulema Saucedo, Jesse Saucedo Jr., Rudy Saucedo, Carolina Cortez, Nora Benetiz, Henry Saucedo, Mario Saucedo and Richard Saucedo.

She was a beautiful, intelligent, creative, loving, caring, giving, hardworking, independent, single mother of three beautiful daughters. Best Momo/Mother to her grandchildren. She was a professional stage dancer, a fashion designer and a seamstress. She was also a professional beautician. She loved to dance and was captivating. She loved to play bingo. She was always there for her family. She also possessed a great sense of humor, always telling jokes, and her laugh was contagious. Her gritos would get everyone happy and ready to dance. She is a true legend, and you will never meet another like her.

Our Queen will be missed by her daughters, Anna Marie Castilleja and Guadalupe Delia Becerra; granddaughter, Valerie Ann Becerra-Balderas; grandsons, Robert and Carlos Anthony Becerra and Joseph Taylor Hernandez; 17 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren; siblings, Mrs. Sylvia Ruiz, Mrs. Sara Retiz and Robert Saucedo.

She will always be loved and forever in our hearts.
