Ofelia Ernestina Medina entered the gates of Heaven on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at the blessed age of 88. She was born in Laredo, Texas to Daniel & Ernestina Tijerina on July 28, 1932. Ofelia is reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Jorge Jose Medina; grandson Jesse Pachecano; her parents and her four siblings. Ofelia will be dearly missed by her children Tina Medina, Jorge Medina Jr., Annabelle Medina (Teri), Sandy Moffett (Scott), David Medina (Becky), Maricela Medina (Rene); 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mom was a beautiful lady. Full of love, kindness, and compassion. She was funny and loved to to laugh. Anyone that was fortunate enough to know her, loved her.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 8, 2021, from 3:30pm until 8:00pm, with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00pm. Family and friends will meet for a Funeral Mass at St. Jude Catholic Church on Friday, July 9, 2021, at 1:00pm. Interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
