Ofilia Jimenez passed away peacefully on March 26, 2023, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. She was 82 years old. She was born in Bryan, Texas, on March 24, 1941.

Ofilia graduated from Edgewood High School and earned an Associate's Degree from St. Phillips College. Ofilia had several jobs growing up, however, her most fulfilling was as a cafeteria manager in the Edgewood I.S.D. until she retired. After a year or so, she returned to work as a Medical Clerk until she retired again. Early in life, Ofilia enjoyed traveling to Mexico. She visited several cities and had several wonderful experiences. Later in life, she enjoyed going to dances. She joined an organization at the Royal Palace that planned several senior dances over the years.

Ofilia is survived by her son, John Jimenez. She is loved and will be missed by her sister, Maria Orosco and brother, Jesse Rodriguez. She had numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
