Olegario "Larry" Rodriguez
December 21, 1942 - March23, 2025

Olegario " Larry" Rodriguez, a beloved husband, father, mentor, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025, at the age of 83. Born in San Antonio, Texas, on December 21, 1942, Larry was a man of remarkable strength, immense heart, and unwavering dedication.
From a young age, Larry demonstrated an unparalleled work ethic, beginning his career in construction as a teenager until retiring due to illness. His passion for his work along with his natural leadership allowed him to rise to the position of a respected figure in the industry. Larry not only led and mentored many but also shaped the lives of those who had the privilege of working with him. He was known for his loyalty, and his ability to bring the best out in others with his boisterous voice of cuss words and humor, leaving a lasting impact on all those who knew him.
Larry's family and friends will forever remember him for the love he gave, the lessons he imparted, and the joy he spread wherever he went. When his time came, he carried himself with dignity, strength, and full of love for those who went before him. He will be missed dearly but never forgotten.

He is preceded in death by his parents Olegario and Juanita Rodriguez, brothers Domingo Rodriguez, Roger Rodriguez, Gabriel Rodriguez, Joe Rodriguez, and daughter Debra Ann Lopez.
He is survived by his wife Zulema Rodriguez, brothers Juan Rodriguez and Andrew Rodriguez. Children DeeDee and Johnny Sanchez, Rosie and Ivan Gonzalez, Hortencia and Mark Greenstreet, Eddie and Christina Lopez, George and Yvonne Rodriguez and many grand and great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held on April 3, 2025 (Thursday) at Castillo Funeral home at 6:00pm located at 520 North General McMullen Drive, San Antonio Texas 78228.
On April 4th (Friday) a final visitation will be held at 9:00am at Castillo Funeral Home with a proceeding to San Fernando Cemetary.
