Olga Alvarez Acosta, 75, went to be with the Lord on August 25, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on August 1, 1948, in San Antonio, Texas, a daughter of the late Ofelia Adame and Pedro Alvarez.

Olga accomplished much during her lifetime but was especially proud of her family. She lived a life that afforded her the opportunity to help many generations of her family thrive and will be remembered forever by all those who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Ofelia Adame and Pedro Alvarez, she is also preceded in death by her daughter, Eva Acosta; sister, Juanita Gonzalez; and brothers, Pedro Alvarez Jr, Henry Alvarez and Oscar Alvarez.

Family members include her sons, Rodolfo Garcia, Ruben Garcia and Marcos Villalobos; 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family members.

The family will receive guests at Castillo Funeral Home on Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm for visitation and a Rosary Service at 6:00 pm.

A Chapel Service will be conducted on Friday, September 15, 2023, at 9:30 am in the Castillo Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends will meet at First Memorial Park and Cemetery following the Chapel Service for interment services.
