On Wednesday, January 27, 2021, Olga Arce Carias, devoted wife, mother of three children, and loving grandmother, passed away at age 79. 0lga was born on March 12, 1941 in San Antonio, TX to Victor and Rita Arce. She graduated from Edgewood High School and went on to finish vocational school. On May 26, 1962, she married Juan Ortiz, Jr. They had two daughters, Debra and Sandra, and one son, Juan III. In 1979, Juan Ortiz Jr. was called to be with the Lord. She took on the role of mother and father with a tenacious trust
and faith in God. On September 28, 1990, Olga married Cesar Carias. Together they raised their
children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. They devoted much time to serving their family, friends and
church. She served as the church secretary for fifty-seven years at Central(Calles) Church of God. Olga
was preceded in death by her late husband, Juan Ortiz Jr., her father, Victor, her mother, Rita, sister Mary
Lou, brothers Victor Jr. and Abel. She is survived by her husband Cesar Carias, their children, Debra (Hector), Sandra (Perry), Johnny (Ruth), Jeanette,
Cesar Gio (Alma), Byron, by grandchildren: Esteban, Gabriel (Kimberly), Daniel, Samuel, Jonathan, Bella, Jennifer, Megan Marie, Martin, Elvira, Andrea and great grandchildren: Raven, Madison, Eric, Lucas, Scarlet, and Michael. She is survived by her sister, Diana Flores, her brothers, Gilbert Arce and Robert Arce and numerous nephews and nieces.

Family and friends will meet for a Graveside service at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at San Fernando Cemetery III, 1735 Cupples Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78226.
