Olga l Mendez passed away peacefully on November 25, 2020, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family.  She was 91 years old.  She was born in San Antonio, Texas, on December 17, 2020.

She graduated from St. Theresa Academy for girls in 1947.  She married her high school sweetheart, Jesse G. Mendez, who preceded her in death in 1970.  She was a homemaker for most of her life and enjoyed singing and cooking and her family.  She was a big fan of the San Antonio Spurs.  She will missed tremendously.

Olga is preceded in death by her son, Richard and husband, Jesse G Mendez; Father, Porforio Lopez; sisters Maria Antonietta Mirabelli, Lille L Cantu; and brothers, Jesse Lopez and Margarito.

Olga is loved dearly and wil be missed by her daughters, Yolanda M Torres (Carlos, dec'd), Rose Marie Martinez (Enrique), Patricia Ann Rios (Victor) and Anthony Mendez (Maria); 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, December 6, 2020 from 3pm until 7:30 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm. Family and friends will depart from Castillo Mission Funeral Home at 9:00 am on Monday, December 7, 2020 for a 10:00 am Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Fernando Catholic Cemetery II.
