Olga Sambrano Ramos passed away on March 3, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on January 27, 1965 to Atanacio & Silveria Sambrano.
Olga graduated from Edgewood High School in 1983 and went on to become a Budget Analyst at the Department of Defense for 40 years.
When not at work, Olga had a great love for traveling and gambling. She created many memories while enjoying trips with family and friends to places such as Las Vegas, Oaxaca, Hawaii, Cancun and any casinos in between. She loved spending time with her "girls," Bonnie, a 14 year old cocker spaniel and Chloe, a 2 year old yorkie.
Olga had a great sense of humor and a distinguishing laugh. She was kind, generous and compassionate. She loved her entire family, despite their quirks and dysfunction. She worried about them, rooted for them. protected them, fought with them, forgave them, and ALWAYS kept loving them.
She is preceded in death by her parents and 2 siblings: Antonio and Atanacio Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel Ramos; children, Samantha and Matthew (Nina); grandchildren, Jude Emiliano and Mia Lilian; siblings, Graciela Ramirez, Ricardo Sambrano, Teresa Rodriguez (Armando), Eddie Sambrano and Michael Sambrano as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 24, 2023, at St. Dominic Catholic Church, San Antonio, Texas.
