Olga Torres Soriano, born August 15th, 1959, went to be with the Lord on November 6th, 2020 at the age of 61.
She was born in San Antonio, Texas to George E. Torres and María Lujano. Olga married Pablo Soriano on January 5th, 1991 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
She graduated from Sidney Lanier H.S. in 1977, Boston University in 1981, and St. Mary's University in 2002. She worked as a professional Electrical Engineer and earned a Master's Degree in Software Engineering.
She loved family trips, romantic comedies, fantasy/mystery literature, Harry Potter series, high school reunions, her pets, and helping others.
She is survived by her husband Pablo; daughters Andrea and Jaclyn; son Matthew; son-in-law Joshua Castillo; grandson Cedric A. Castillo and granddaughter Adelynn Sara-Marie Castillo. Brother Orlando A. Torres and Robert L. Sprott III; sister Maria De Jesus Torres; aunts Olga T. Zuniga and Julia Moreno; nephew Jorge Torres III; Robert Sprott IV and wife Vivian; Ray Sprott and wife Nicole; great-nephew Robert Sprott V.
She is preceded in death by both parents George E. Torres and María Elena Torres; brother George Torres Jr.; sister Sara L. Sprott; sister Maria Ruth Díaz Torres; nephew Chris Torres; paternal and maternal grandparents.
The family will receive friends at Castillo Mission Funeral Home, 520 N. Gen McMullen on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2020, from 3-6pm.
A private Rosary to be recited at 6 pm for immediate family.
A Mass will be held on Thursday, December 3rd, 2020, 9am at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 9883 Marbach Rd.
Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery at Cordi-Marian, 2 pm, private ceremony.
