Obituary

Olga Garibay Treviño, born June 2, 1932, went into the loving arms of the Lord on Friday, January 15, 2021, at the blessed age of 88.

Olga was a mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was smart, funny, creative, strong and loved her family. She gave many years in the service of our Lord at Iglesia Bautista Sur San Antonio. She loved singing in the choir, bible studies and being part of her church family. She will be dearly missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Treviño, parents, Isidro Cardenas Garibay and  Juaquina Alvarado Garibay, stepmother Feliz Garibay, sister Maria G. Kirtley, brothers Alfredo, Randy and Ernie Garibay, sons Larry Larioz and Raymond Treviño.

Olga is survived by her siblings Ofelia Puentes, Yolanda G. Perez (Martin) and Isidro Garibay, sister-in-law Dolores Ximenez; children Irma Lopez, Alfred, Cynthia T. Bermea, Edward, Rebecca T. Henley, Mary Jane Treviño (Mike), and Jason; grandchildren, Marie Anntoinette Moreno, Melissa Muñoz, Alfred Treviño Jr. (Sandy), Heather Ann Treviño-Charo, Johnny Ray Treviño, Rob Clinard, Erick Clinard (Sherisha), Ashley Deike (Torey), Misty Fugate (Chris), Jordan Rothman (Maddie), and Jacquline Taylor (Timothy). Great and great great-grandchildren, Emerald, Matthew, Nathan, Niklas, McKenzie, Dylan, Lorenzo, Rebecca, Mason, Rylan, Kamlyn, Brian, Madeline, Travis, John, Annabella, Emalyn, Vivian, Penelope, Alexander Sean, Mayah Grace, Belén Rosario, Ashton and many more family members and friends.

Due to an abundance of caution, Olga will be laid to rest at a graveside service held for immediate family only at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery on Thursday, February 4, 2021. We will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.

The family wishes to express its gratitude for all the love and support from family and friends during this difficult time. Special thanks to the staff at Regent Care Medical Center, Lone Star Transportation and Fresenius Kidney Care.

Arrangements are under the direction of Castillo Mission Funeral Home in San Antonio, Texas.
