Olga Tellez Villa
December 28, 1934 – June 3, 2026
Olga Tellez Villa peacefully entered the presence of our Lord on June 3, 2026, at the age of 91, surrounded by her loving family.Born on December 28, 1934, Olga was a lifelong resident of San Antonio. She lived a life grounded in faith, love, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her deep faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of her life, guiding her actions and shaping the way she cared for others. Through her kindness, compassion, generosity, and servant's heart, she touched countless lives and reflected God's love to everyone she met. Those same values of integrity and service were evident throughout her professional life. Olga was a dedicated, original employee of San Antonio Shoes (SAS), where she worked faithfully for 45 years, before retiring in 2019. She was respected and admired by her coworkers for her strong work ethic, commitment, and warm spirit. After retirement, she stayed active by sewing, watching her favorite novelas, and traveling with friends to Kickapoo.Olga deeply loved her family and leaves behind a legacy of love through her children, Velma Villa, Virginia Sanchez and husband Ernest, Ricardo Villa and wife Teresa. She was also a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, who brought her great joy. She is also survived by her brothers, Gilbert Tellez Jr., Reynaldo Tellez, and Robert Tellez. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Elivira Tellez; her husband, Raul R. Villa; her son, Raul Villa Jr.; and her sisters, Lily Robles and Bertha Candelario. While our hearts mourn her passing, we find comfort in knowing that Olga has been welcomed into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We take solace in the promise of eternal life and the hope that we will one day be reunited with her. Until then, her love, strength, kindness, and friendship will continue to live on in the hearts and cherished memories of all who knew and loved her.May she rest in the peace of Christ and enjoy the eternal joy of God's heavenly kingdom.Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
