Ophelia Pelayo entered into eternal rest on December 18, 2025, at the blessed age of 95, she was born on March 5, 1930, she lived a long, full life marked by resilience, devotion to her family, and a spirit that remained vibrant through every season of her years.

She is preceded in death by her beloved children Marcelino Pelayo, Olga Peña, Robert Pelayo, and Felipe Pelayo; and by her siblings Jose Maximiliano Rodriguez, Carmen Rodriguez, Seferino Rodriguez, Consuelo Rodriguez, Genaro Rodriguez, and Angela Rodriguez.

Ophelia is survived by her loving children Celia Daniels, Antonia Martinez Veloz, Dolores Huizar, Jesse Pelayo, and Delina Grasso. She was blessed with generations of descendants—grandchildren, great‑grandchildren, and great‑great‑grandchildren—each one a testament to the legacy she leaves behind. She is also survived by her sister, Juanita Rodriguez.

Throughout her life, Ophelia enjoyed the simple joys that brought her connection and laughter. She loved playing bingo and was known for her interest and talent in reading tarot cards, a gift she often shared with those around her.
Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and all who were touched by her kindness, wisdom, and unmistakable presence.
