Oralia Bernal Chavira passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 31, 2023, surrounded by the warmth and love of her children. She was 75 years young, born September 3, 1947 in San Antonio, TX. She was predeceased by Carlos Chavira (husband), Baby King James Gonzales (great grandchild), Audencia Cantu Bernal (mother) and Leonard Bernal, Jr. (father) and Isabella Bernal (sister), Danier Bernal (brother).

Oralia was a homemaker who enjoyed life to the fullest. Always caring, always optimistic and always sharing. She will be missed and loved by her children: Syliva Mendez, Sophia Perez, Lydia Ortega, Caroline Pena, Tina Chavira, Gina Markert, and Carlos Chavira, Jr and was very proud to have 18 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren whose photos covered the walls of her home. She is now in heaven watching over all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

For those who knew Oralia and wish to celebrate her life, a funeral service will be held on February 12, 2023, at Castillo Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m to 6:00pm with a Rosary to immediately follow at 6:00pm. Burial of her ashes will be at a later date.
