Orlando Alexander Fuentes was called to be with the Lord on March 8, 2022, he was surrounded by family and friends. Orlando was born in San Antonio, Texas, on October 14, 1992. Orlando was 29 years old.
Orlando graduated from Sidney Lanier High School in 2011. He was a football player known by his teammates as "Delfino"; he played offensive lineman but knew the whole game of football. In his junior year he had the honor in playing in the last "Chili Bowl" against Fox Tech. The past 4 years Orlando worked as a mover at Scobey Moving Company. He was responsible and a very hard worker. Some of the things Orlando liked to do were hanging out with his brothers, step brothers, and friends. He liked having a drink or two on the weekends (crown apple, Budweiser) and play beer pong. He loved to have a good time. He liked playing his Xbox, getting something good to eat and loved to organize his fantasy football leagues. His favorite football team was the Philadelphia Eagles. Fly eagles Fly.
Orlando is preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Elena and Jose A. Rendon, Mr. Oscar Fuentes Sr., Mrs. Mary Leonor Helmke, Mr. Vincent Ochoa; Uncles Richard A. Rendon Sr. and Jerry L. Helmke; Aunt Norma Jean Gonzalez and his best (canine) friend Savo.
Orlando is survived by his mother and father Mr. & Mrs. Raquel and Elroy Helmke Jr.; Father Oscar Fuentes Jr.; grandmother Norma S. Ochoa; Brothers Oscar Fuentes III and Elroy Gilbert Helmke III (fiancé Ana); sister Maryellen Jean Helmke; Nieces Khloe, Nila, and Demi Moncada; nephew Meziah Fuentes; Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, step brothers, step sisters, and friends. Orlando loved his family and wanted peace and love in his heart.
He will be greatly missed.
