On the afternoon of September 25, 2023, Pablo Aguilera Mata of Zaragoza, Coahuila, Mexico passed away at his home in San Antonio, Tx. at the age of 73

He is preceded in death by his Father Margarito Aguilera, Mother Guadalupe Mata, & Brother Fernando Aguilera

He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years Maria Aguilera & his brother Benito Aguilera and his children Pablo Aguilera Jr. (Dora), Ema Guajardo (Roland), Laura Martinez (Jaime), Claudia Gonzalez (Oscar), Griselda Ramirez (Raul), 19 Grandchildren and 2 Great-grandchildren.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather & great grandfather. He was an amazing man of God, a Pilar in his church, with so much faith & a very humble man, who always helped those in need without expecting something in return.

If you knew him, he always had so much humor, always joking with everyone he came across. And a huge Dallas Cowboys fan.

He had a genuine heart full of love for his wife, kids, grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

Pablo Aguilera Mata was loved and will be dearly missed by those who knew him. We will forever hold dear the memories we shared with him.

The family will receive guests at Castillo Funeral Home on Sunday October 8, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and for a Chapel Service at 6:00 pm.

Guest will arrive at Castillo Funeral Home on Monday, October 9, 2023, between 8:00 am and 9:00 am. A formal funeral procession will depart for Meadowlawn Memorial Park at 9:15 am for a graveside service to be conducted at 10:00 am.
