Obituary

Patti M. Botello Gill was called home to the be with the Lord on March 1, 2022.  A beloved and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, friend, she was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Linda Botello. She is survived by her husband Edward Gill; her children: Edward Ted (daughter-in-law Dawn), Beverly, and Timothy, grandchildren: Isaac, Scarlett, Olivia, Charlie, brother's: Charles Jr, Michael Canales (Helen), Larry (Anna), sister Dolores (Tommy), and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Patti was born on December 22, 1955, in San Antonio Texas. She was a proud alum of Holmes High School class of 1973 and worked as the school secretary of Woodlawn and Hawthorne Elementary schools until 1994.

Patti lived a wonderfully blessed life.  She and her husband met while in attendance at Lowell Middle School and spent over 53 years together allowing them to live and travel throughout the world with one another. Patti was a 10-year breast cancer survivor and continuously donated to help others in need.

Patti most importantly dedicated herself to her family. Her love knew no bounds as she selflessly cared for her husband, children, and grandchildren.  She had a special ability to make you smile and laugh even on the lowest of moments or days.  No matter the challenges she always let her positivity and love shine though.

Most precious to Patti was her faith in God. Patti's faith led her to live her life in the service of others, giving of her time and money generously.  She was a beautiful soul, whose life was shortened far too soon.  Patti will always be remembered for her abundance of love, her generosity, her compassion, and her grace. It was a privilege to have known her, loved her, and have been a member of her family.  She will be missed tremendously.

Rest in peace Patti as you are now with loved ones who have passed before you and in the arms of our Lord in the ultimate kingdom of heaven.  "But the Lord stood with me, and gave me strength" -2 Timothy 4:17
