It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father Paul G. Castañeda Sr.,  who passed on September 2, 2025 at the age of 86 surrounded by family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Lina Castañeda, his beloved wife of 60 years Viola Castañeda, son Joseph Castañeda, brother George Castañeda and his wife Patricia Castañeda, sister Francis Rios and her husband Tony Rios, and his sister Angela.He is loved and will be deeply missed by his children, Rita Baladez, Irma Morales & (Albert Morales), Julia Quintana & (Sam Quintana) , Paul Castañeda Jr. & (Yolanda Castañeda), Janie Arcos & (Eugene Arcos). He will also be dearly missed by 15 grandchildren & their spouses, 18 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces, neighbors and friends.
As a father he always worked tremendously hard to provide for his family. He was willful to the end and his many telling of stories and silly jokes will be fondly remembered.
