Paul Morales Hernandez, aged 88,  passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 13th, 2024 with his loving wife by his side. Paul was a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who was loved dearly by his family and by all who knew him.

He was born on September 12, 1936, in Helotes, Texas to Federico Hernandez and Sulema Pelaya. He married Rose Marie on December 9th, 1981 in San Antonio, Texas. He was a hard working man who worked as a truck driver with the City of San Antonio for 35 years.  Paul was loving, had a funny sense of humor, had the biggest heart and to those of us who were so lucky to call him husband, dad, and grandpa he was everything!

He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie Hernandez, children Rosa Linda "Rosie" (Carlos) Mendez, Gloria (Ronnie) Jimenez, Erline (Bill) Rohan, Armando (Susie) San Miguel, Adolfo San Miguel, Sheryl Tarin, Pearl Gamboa, Paul Hernandez Jr., Lalo Hernandez, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved him very much.

He is preceded in death by his mother Sulema, father Federico, and his sister Annie Hernandez.

Family, friends, and others are invited to Castillo Funeral Home, 520 N. General McMullen Dr., San Antonio, TX  from 4:00pm-8:00pm on Thursday, September 26, 2024, to reminisce and honor the life of Paul.
