Paul Morales (Paulie)

Born on August 26, 1950, in San Antonio, Texas. Passed away on February 13, 2025.

Paulie was a rock and roll enthusiast with a deep love for the Dallas Cowboys and classic cars. Whether he was jamming to his favorite tunes or working on an engine he was always in his element. Paulie was the kind of person who never met a stranger and was always there to lend a hand. His infectious sense of humor, kind and positive attitude made him a joy to be around. He loved grabbing his daily lottos, spending time with family and friends, Listening to music, watching football and having a cold BudLight.

Paulie is survived by his daughter, Maria Castro, and her husband, Albert Aguilar; his son, Claudio Castro, and his wife, Crystal Castro and his cherished grandchildren Christopher Aguilar, Adrianna and Michael Huerta, Mariah and Joshua Avilez, Patricia Aguilar, Daniel and Autumn Castro, Claudio Castro Jr., Karmen Castro, Joshua Castro, Nathan Castro, Elijah Castro, Natalie V and Zachary V.

His sister, Josie Colunga (William Colunga), his brother, Albert Morales (Irma Morales)

He also leaves behind his great-grandchildren, Audrey and Ava Huerta, and Aubriella Avilez and many nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.

Paulie was preceded in death by his wife, Carmen Castro; his parents, William and Mary Morales; his brother, William Morales; and his great-grandson, Jude Avilez.

Visitation will be held at Castillo Funeral Home on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. with a Prayer Service to be recited at 3 p.m.
