Paula Montez passed away peacefully on June 17, 2020, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. She was 83years old. She was born in Houston,Texas on January 20,1937 .

Paula lived in San Antonio, Texas most of her life. She was wedded to Mike Montez.Paula worked most of her lifetime. She was a very strong and independent woman. She always loved to cook. One of her favorite dishes was tamales. She loved the company of being around her grandchildren,those moments were her happiest times. She love to sing and sang beautifully. We will never forget her and enjoy the good times we had with her. She will be dearly missed.

Paula is survived in death by her sister Frances G Puryear and daughters Mary Burks, Elizabeth Thornton, and Deedee Melendez.

Paula is loved and will be missed by her daughter Mary Burks (Jimmy); daughters Therese Reyes( Jay), Leslie Thornton( Jino), Maria Cavanaugh ; Sons Patrick Moreno , Adrian Reyes(Myra). Elizabeth Thornton sons; Hiland Thornton, Andrew Thornton(Krystal). Deedee Melendez( Jose) daughters; Ariel Melendez (Anthony) Heavenly Melendez. Followed by many great-grandchildren, extended family members nieces, nephews and Friends.
