Paula Ybarra, 79, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose kindness touched everyone she met.

Paula was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Andrew O. Ybarra, and her son, Domingo Ybarra. She is survived by her three children, Mercy Ybarra, Andrew Ybarra, and Pauline Ybarra; 15 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren, all of whom were the pride and joy of her life.

Paula worked at a convenience store for many years and continued working there until she was no longer able. She was known for her strong work ethic and friendly smile. Outside of work, Paula loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed visiting her loved ones for lunch or inviting them over to share her homemade menudo. She also liked buying scratch-off tickets and picking numbers for the Dallas Cowboys games—and she had a bit of luck, winning a few times.

Paula had a heart full of love and was always ready to help anyone in need. Her kindness, generosity, and devotion to her family will always be remembered. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
